 Post subject: Since upgrading to v2.37 I cannot connect

I upgraded this morning (as requested).

When my computer re-started I got a message "Failed to connect to Tonido Server. Verify credentials are correct and the server is running"

... they are correct (I haven't changed anything) and the server is running.

There is also a newer TonidoDrive version out. Can you please install and check?

TonidoDrive v 2.37.0.17274

Cannot connect either with LAN settings: http://xxx.xxx.x.x:10001/app/websharepro/share

... or WAN settings :
http://xxxxxxxxx.tonidoID.com/app/websharepro/share

Both should work and were working before the upgrade.

The upgraded TonidoSync client (same version number) does work OK.

Tonido Drive doesn't work with WebsharePro URLs. Those are meant only for WebDAV clients.

For TonidoDRive, you need to use http://accountname.tonidoID.com

What do you mean TonidoDrive doesn't work with WebsharePro ...

(1) This is why I bought WebsharePro

(2) I got the details of how to configure it for WebsharePro from you .. check these forums for details

(3) It has been working fine for the past three months

It only stopped working with the latest "downgrade".

I said it doesn't work with WebsharePro URLs and not WebsharePro.

The URL needs to be http://accountname.tonidoID.com
and not http://accountname.tonidoid.com/app/websharepro/share

Ok ... this is what I've found

The latest version of TonidoDrive DOES work with either:

http://accountname.tonidoID.com
http://accountname.tonidoid.com/app/websharepro/share

... but they ONLY work with the main admin account user ID; the do not work with a guest account.

Hence the problem with the upgrade is it is not recognising guest accounts ... it did before ... and this was the whole point of WebSharePro.

(I haven't posted a screen shot of my setting as this would be a security issue)

We are looking at this. TonidoDrive didn't have guest login support before, but we will work to support this and release an update.
