"If you are within your LAN or Network, Tonido will automatically switch your Tonido URL to be your computer's IP address (instead of your private URL of http://yourid.tonidoid.com) for faster access. See URL in screen shot below"

It does not seems to work as i am accessing in my LAN from another laptop and it does not auto redirect me to the local server IP

Is there places i can check to make sure this work?

Are both machines connected to the same router?

Nope they are not in the same router but in the same segment

Router A = Modem + Router + Wireless + DHCP
Router B = Wireless Router (DD-WRT), add this router only for the WOL function in DD-WRT
Both are in same IP segment
Tonido Host PC (static IP) is connected to Router B (DHCP Disabled)
Laptop Client(DHCP) is connected to Router A wireless

I can understand your question about different router.

But when i type in my url, xxx.tonidoid.com in the "host PC", it should resolve local IP instead right?

Yes, in theory. What is your machine's IP?
If you open the Tonido UI, in the main page in the footer there is a LAN address specified. What does that LAN address say does it match the LAN address of your host PC?

So i have to manually click it? I thought it should be auto re-direct?

I am just worried that my sync won't work on LAN when i am in LAN

Anyway i am new to tonido, and not sure how the sync works and have some questions hope you can help me

1) My upload takes ages (around 20kbps), Does that means it's uploading to your cloud server?
2) i can see my upload files in %AppData%\Roaming\TonidoSyncData\server\cache, what is this folder for?I have those files in my default syncfolder. Why need to create the same file again?
3) I have 50G sync space, My syncfolder contain 8G of files, but the upload stops at 4G and i got this message at the server log
21:34:19:423 [67] [Sync]:E: Tonido::TonidoConnector::uploadFile : Upload Failed: Bad Params

If it is not switching to LAN IP when you are connected from Host PC, then most certainly automatic switching is not occuring. This most likely is because of your network configuration. In those cases to get direct connection, you would need to type the LAN URL directly to get access.

Regarding sync, I see a separate forum topic for that already. Please continue there.
