This is a kernel provided by the HW manufacturer. We will check with them.

If/when you get a response, if you could post the source and config, that'd be great!

The default kernel is woefully inadequate. I have experienced kernel crashes related to the Marvell NIC card and there is no ppp module (i.e. no option to host a VPN server). No support for POSIX extended attributes on ext3, and the kernel is too old to support the TRIM command for SSD installation.

Awaiting a config/source as well. Need Reiserfs. my plug is useless right now without it!

I know the plug2 is a new product and one of the earliest commercial uses of the Marvel Armada 310 chip, and not to go all FSF on Tonido or your kernel purveyor, but isn't public access to all the source and build files necessary to be in compliance w/ the licenses of the various binary constituents of the shipping plug2 root file system, including the kernel? ....

We are aware of it. We are working on it. The whole system is open, so we are not trying to definitely hold back the sources.

We have communicated with our HW vendor. We will be getting the source in a week or two. Please stay tuned.

Hi there,

Has there been any update on this? I'm having a problem related to this, no ppp module in the kernel so I cannot create a pptp firewall which I would like to use to connect my iPhone to the tonidoplug across the web.
