Hi there.

I'm in Windows Explorer on Win 7 64-bit. I want to right-click and share a single file (1-click).

But no matter WHAT file I click on (zip, mp3, jpg, folder, etc) the URL I get is only pointing to my entire drive?!

Is that a bug? Can you fix it? Am I doing something wrong?

PS: This happens to files only on my D: drive...my C: drive seems fine.

OK...I got it...

Tonido won't share ANY folder or files with a # character in it...

which really sucks, because half of my folders have that character in it (in order to re-sort the explorer list the way I want, # forces that folder to the top of the list before the 'A').

well, now what?

Sounds like a bug. We will take a look.

A workaround for now, instead of using windows explorer, open tonido web user interface and browse to the folder location and choose share.

Any update on this yet? :(

still having major issues 1-click sharing ANY filename or folder with # character in it.

PS: please don't tell me to remove those characters, that's not a solution. ;)

thanks!!

I just received an email about a $20 discount to upgrade to Pro. So I wondered if it is worth upgrading and maybe using the features more, but then I remembered this "#" problem which screws up my most used feature of Tonido, One-Click-Sharing, and so updated all the software and apps only to find that this is still a problem after over a year!
Is this on your list of thing to do? If so, any idea when it might get resolved?

This has been fixed now and should be in the next release.
