Got shortcuts worked out.
Ended up adding IE animations.
Also looks like the breadcrumbs are working in all browsers now.

Bad news. My drive connect to my plug is now unresponsive. :(

Not just unresponsive...unrecognizable on all computers. I can't even reformat because no computer can see it...sigh.

I am going to have to order a new drive; good thing I work for a hard drive company; at least I can save a little. I will make sure my current Tonido Shell works on Windows and then will probably contact my beta testers. I will probably hold off on any more features on this release due to drive failure.

If anyone would like to become a beta tester, let me know.

Well I am done with 1.2.5. I tested it in Tonido for windows as well and all looks good. IE8 now has the animations, but still not the shadows. Shadows will kick in on IE9 as soon as Tonido properly supports IE9; no update necessary. IE filters to do shadows didn't play nice with everything, so I left them out; the CSS for boxshadows is there though.

I am almost ready to release, I just need to do some beta testing to make sure I caught all of the bugs.

The finished product:

Ended up settling on the following shortcuts:
Ctrl+Shift+B -> toggle breadcrumb bar
Ctrl+Shift+I -> focus on the input line
Ctrl+Shift+M -> insert shellmark when focused on input line

If you don't like these shortcuts, don't worry too much, I think in the next release these will be configurable, but these things take time. I have a shortcut library in place so these can be changed out dynamically, I just won't have the code to change them until maybe the next release.

These may override some brower's default shortcuts...but it is nearly impossible to come up with shortcuts that make sense and don't override some others, but after I add the shortcut manager, you can do it how you like.

After I release 1.2.5, I will probably begin working on 1.3.0. I have some ideas I want to get out. 1.3.0 will probably get the shortcut manager in place, and hopefully get a working tabbed sessions going. I will probably limit the tabbed sessions to some arbitrary number; at least 2 maybe more, but probably no more than 10 (I honestly can't think of a reason someone would need 10 sessions on a Tonido server.

If you want to give your input feel free.

Technically, Tonido Shell is ready for Linux, but Tonido has not yet included PHP in the Linux PC package yet. The plug runs on Ubuntu, and Tonido Shell runs on the plug. I am literally just waiting for Tonido to release the PHP support and I will start posting the Linux package.

I would even say I am nearly ready for MAC as well, but I would need to test to make sure when they release PHP for MAC.

Glad to hear there is some interest in Linux here.

Next Tonido release should include PHP support for Linux.

Did some more testing and everything still looks good. I fixed some minor CSS stuff that I have been meaning to fix for a while...nothing that would be really that noticeable.

I guess I will be releasing as soon as I update the changelogs and commit the code. Maybe in the next couple of days.

Keep an eye out.

So yeah...been meaning to post 1.2.5, but kind of forgot; I will post it probably tonight...if I remember.

Kind of caught fire coding on Tonido Shell. I have been consolidating a lot of Javascript code, and in many places rewriting; I have learned a lot on this project concerning Javascript, and am trying out some new things. Making it a little more object oriented, and trying to be cleaner about it, and resolve at least some of the weakness in some of my other libraries. I am trying to be methodical on how I re-architect. I have some new project ideas, and I want to make things easier on them when I start them.

I am essentially kind of writing my own frame work. Keep in mind I know there are plenty of great frameworks out there (and no doubt better and more robust than mine), but this project is about learning for me. There are too many people out there who's answer is just use Jquery, and they don't understand the mechanics behind it; I don't want to be another one of those people ;) . I'll use Prototype and/or Jquery when I am good and ready to; sometimes you just need to get dirty in the code.
