This is the exception received from the OS based on the process permission. Do you get the same exception message even when you run Tonido as administrator?

Thanks

We have seen Windows disallows access to these special folders. Can you try specifying a folder inside for backup and checking if it works ok.

there are no folders inside, only files. I'm in a bit of a bind right now re tonido backup. for some reason, my backup host tonido (headless) lost it's mind and I'm reinstalling/reconfiguring it. after that is done, I'll come back to this problem.

okay, I'm officially going mad. I'm trying to back everything up in my Windows 7 home directory to a headless Linux box. something died on the linux box so I upgraded to the latest, wiped out the tonido directories, recover the account and still not working right. I can't get invitations to work to work. I send an invite direct since both machines are on the same network and nothing happens.the invite just sits on my Windows box waiting to be heard. Obviously, backups of everything else a failed. I've wasted too many days on this and I think I'm going to have to go somewhere else for backup solution. This should've taken me 15 minutes, it has consumed about 15 hours and counting.

Seriously crank inspiring

Recovering an account and trying to reform the group might be the problem.
Can both accounts talk to each other via the tonidoID URL?

It is possible that after recovery, that the accounts cant talk to each other. You might want to create a new account instead of using the recovered account.
