Hello

Great product.

I would like to upload a php Tonido app to your app store for others to use. Its free and is a web interface for AgentRansack (for people who have it installed on their windows machine).

I found this page.

http://www.tonido.com/support/Developer:AppStore

However it was last updated in 2008 and says its really easy I just need to upload it. So my questions are many and varied.

1. How do I get a support login. It doesnt appear to be the same as the support login I created for the forums, or the account I created at tonidoid.com or the account I created for the online store. Maybe I could request one?

2. Is there actually an appstore, or do people have to download my app from my website?

3. Is there a way I can get involved to share my experience with others interested? Do you have a wiki for dev issues?

I would really like to take this forward, but find trying to get the information a little bit frustrating. I really like the idea of phpplugins and would love to be able to contribute.

You have to send your app to the tonido support email address. They really don't have an automated system yet.

With that said, I have been waiting quite a while for my app to release. If you want to get it into people's hands sooner, you can just post it on the forum or your website until it releases; that is what I have done.

No one has had an app released yet. They have told me soon, but I am not sure what that means.

I think interest in the app store has only really started to grow recently, so I imagine a better submission process will come in the future.

Thanks for the interest, as faceless mentioned, Thirdparty app dev interest has picked up and we have about 5 apps now in the queue.

We welcome your app as well, and as a long time Agent Ransack user, sounds nifty.

You don't need one. Currently the submission process is sending email to support@codelathe.com with your app as attachment.

We test, sign the manifest and post it in the app store for users to install.

There is an appstore. It will be just one click to download and install new apps.

We would love to hear from you.
We don't have a Wiki yet, but we could create one or use the tonidouser.com and create a dev section there.

If you have some ideas about this, please let us know and we will set it up.
I guess we could discuss stuff using the Forums and post more permanent articles in the wiki.

Err, sorry about the delay. We had been waiting to get the PHP issue fixed and it has been fixed in the release 2 weeks ago. We are currently working on getting the app signed and ready for release.

Can you write up something we can post about your app on our blog? A word document with screenshots etc would be great.

Yes, we didn't have a process, because we didn't get submissions when there was only the C++ SDK available. We will refine the process and make it easy to do submit and process apps.

Yeah. Some kind of developer-Wiki would be nice.
I find the documentation of the PHP-API is a little bit thin.
I've some ideas of myself but haven't had time to get started with them.

I had put one up, but then I was contacted by Tonido, and they have set one up, so this is a much better place to start the developer wikie.

Nice start.

We have a open wiki at http://tonidouser.com/doku.php
Anyone can create an account and edit those pages.

Can I request that you use that wiki for the developer pages as well?
We will make the tonidouser.com pretty prominent in our site so users can find it easily.

That wiki is based off dokuwiki which is pretty good too.
