Hi folks,
I've changed the partition size to 4 GB now. Right now the new image is uploading!

Greetings,
Thomas

Thanks. A 4 Gb partition makes more sense, and saves a lot of hassle.Quick question. How to create an .img file out of a usb stick? I want to create a backup of my working config with all the updates in it.

same usb image tool, but now do not recover but backup

I restored the 3.502 version of the squeezeplug image to a 8 GB USB drive and the USB image tool created a 4 GB partition on it. After setting up everything, I backed up the USB drive and I end up with a 8 GB image! :o

The USB flash disk has two partitions on it, but when backing up the USB image tool seems to copy the whole drive. How to back up only the partition I am interested in?

i use clonezilla, burn it on a cd or usbstick, boot your pc from it and follow the instructions. nice about clonezilla is that it only copies data, so your image will be smaller then the actual size of your partition.
when you are on windows you can use acronis true image (is not free software)
