Hi .. i've been trying to see if this is possible but I can't seem to either find anyone else who has had this issue on the forums but I noticed that the ability to resume an upload via a share connected over WebDAV (either via the Mac's finder or from an application) appears to either be broken or non existent ..?

Im using a Tonido Plug running the latest (as of this posting) software "Version: 2.25.0.13193" ... I am also trying to connect in from Apple OSX 10.6.6 (and I've tried from other Mac's running other versions of OSX) ..

Is upload-resume possible in webdav as its implemented on the Tonido Plug? Anyone have any luck?

Currently HTTP PUT in WebDAV does not support Byte Ranges, hence resume might not be possible. This might be added in a future release. But however, simply adding byte range support doesn't mean it will work everywhere, clients have to have support for this. At this moment, I don't know if OSX has support.

I've tried some things.. both from the command line "curl" and tools like Cyberduck which as resume as an option, and what I noticed was it just wipes out what file is there and starts over..

honestly give the non-standard "standard" that is webdav .. I am not sure if OSX has it or not.. but thanks for the answer!

That is interesting, if Cyberduck does support resume, it is easier to add it in because we can test it easily.

I find Cyberduck a nice app for working with remote Tonido drives.

I have a friend playing with another program called Transmit .. which I haven't tested myself .. I am not sure if it also has a resume feature for webdav connections.. I will ask him to check .. (he's sorta my guinea pig for testing Tonido webdav and other tonido network features across the internet)
