Using Bit Kinex, I still see no files. When I connect a datasource, I get the following feedback:

Resolving host name "somename.tonidoid.com" ...
connecting ( somename.tonidoid.com => ip: ##.###.##.###, port: 80)
Connected (##.###.##.###: 80)

<<< PROPFIND / HTTP/1.1
<<< User-Agent: BitKinex/3.2.2
<<< Accept: "/"
<<< Pragma: no-cache
<<< Cache-Control: no-cache
<<< Depth: 1
<<< Content-Length: 220
<<< Content-Type: text/xml
>>> HTTP/1.1 302 Found
>>> Connection: Close
>>> Date: Sun, 04 Jul 2010 05:33:12 GMT
>>> Location: /ui/core/index.html
Connection closed

This is with User: somename and appropriate password.

I also tried with username and password for user that a folder is shared with.
Output is essentially the same, except
<<< Content-Type: text/xml
<<< Authorization: Basic [bunch of characters here]
>>> HTTP/1.1 200 OK
>>> Cache-Control: private, no-cache, no-store, proxy-revalidate
>>> Connection: Close

>>> Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8
>>> Date: Sun, 04 Jul 2010 05:51:27 GMT
>>> Pragma: no-cache

My settings are the same. When I double-click the entry, it opens a window, with the messages as I related in the lower middle pane. If I click on the icon in the upper left pane, I can go to Data Source and choose Connect.

The lower middle pane shows (showing just first word each line)

Resolving...
Connecting...
Connected ...
Fin received
Connection closed

The middle pane shows "/" and "File folder", but nothing more, and clicking this shows nothing. It seems that BitKinex might be working fine, but that the problem may be with some settings on the server side.

I am using a TonidoPlug, with a USB drive attached.

Shouldn't the contents of the directory connected to be displayed in the middle pane?

I've resolved some of my problems. I updated websharepro, and now everything works as documented when accessing from a Windows7 machine. This for Tonido running on a TonidoPlug purchased just weeks ago.

I've tested with NetDrive & BitKinex on Windows7, and they both work fine - I can map all my drives by using my tonido acct and password, or I can map a WebsharePro share by using the guest user name and password.

Still unable to mount as a local drive on Ubuntu machine. Will explore further.

The documentation says:

To map a WebsharePro share shared with guests ...
....

2. After the entry shows up in the shares list, you will see an entry that says "Mount as Local Drive".

This actually says "Mount as Remote Drive", and is a link back to the documentation, not a setting.

I too am having problems with mounting as local drive... Nothing seems to work...
http://accountid.tonidoid.com works from the internet browser, but does not work from either netdrive or BitKinex.

Oh and the BitKinex error dialog is "HTTP: connection attempt failed. (/)"

Also : http://accountid.tonidoid.com:10001 does not work from the internet browser

I purchases WebsharePro and I can not get "Mount share as Local Drive" to work. I am running Windows 7 64bit. my account name, user name, display name are all the same and are all lowercase.

1. BitKinex is working but does not offer "Mount share as Local Drive".

2. NetDrive 1.0.8.15 does not install on Windows 7 64bit. I have not tried the latest version.

3. Windows Map network drive... is not working. I have tried numerous times.

I only purchased WebsharePro for the "Mount share as Local Drive" feature. How can I get it to work?

You can try getting Webdrive that does work on 64-bit, but it is not free.
If that doesn't fit your needs, we can offer a refund for your purchase.

:shock: So are you saying that WebsharePro's key feature "Mount share as Local Drive" does not work on Windows 7 64bit without buying another companies product? I have seen other post that the native Windows Map Network Drive works. I was hoping for the detail procedure to get mine working. If there is no solution, I would like to get a refund. Thanks.

Windows's implementation does not follow WebDAV specs as much as they would claim it does, so no wonder it doesn't work. Please send email to support@codelathe.com.
