Android : "Profile Already Logged In" issue

URL is lower case: http://jlsworkxp.tonidoid.com

I know my account name is lower (never use upper unless forced), but I am not sure what it actually is. I am 90% sure, but where can I verify that?

If I can get this working nicely on my Windows box, I want to purchase a plug and set that up!

<edit> I think I just found my anser on the General Settings tab.. Will try jlsworkxp as both URL and account name tonight.

<edit 2> That was it! I was using the wrong account name. Sorry for the stupidity!

In general, if you have two profile ids in your Tonido server then you can access your tonido server only by the profile that has been logged in your Tonido server.

For example:
If you have 2 profiles: profile1 and profile2 in your PC and you have logged in to server using profile1 ,

Following input works:
URL:http://profile1.tonidoid.com and USER: profile1.

Following inputs throws "Profile Already Logged In"
URL:http://profile1.tonidoid.com and USER: profile2.
URL:http://profile2.tonidoid.com and USER: profile2.

Due to a bug, users are getting "Error Profile already logged in. Failed to Login" if there is a case mismatch.

You can access your Tonido server from you mobile app as long as your Tonido server (TonidoPlug or mahcine ) is running. You can access from any computer or mobile phones.

You need not reinstall the app. If you click on 'menu' and select 'switch user', all the cached login data will be cleared.

Some background data:

I had my plug on warranty replacement, so I had software on my PC so long. I had logged in with profile X to tonido at my PC (with exactly the same address:
myhomename.mydomain:10001) as now to the plug (my firewall just forwards the port 10001 to correct device).

Now when I try with profilename Y (newone for new plug) to the same address I just get the error and cannot login?

If there is some cached information which does not go off even with uninstall in my Android please tell what to delete (yes I have file explorer that can go root).

Option 2: I started to use https with plug again, is there bug/not implemented feature with Android app to connect with https?

Confusing: The mobile app works when I log in to my laptop but when I try to log in to my desktop I get the Profile Already Logged In error

*Suggestion for the mobile app: The server field should automatically populate when the account name is entered, it's cumbersome to have to type in the full server URL everytime the mobile app is run.

Account name is case sensitive.Can you pl check if account name is in correct case?

Also, can you pl try loging into your desktop from another computer through browser? If you couldnt not, problem could be in the tonido running in your desktop... let us know if you could log in.

question: I created a guest user but I get "Profile Already Logged In" every time I try to login from my Android.

Logging in as the main user works but I only get a folders list.

how to I login as one of the guest users?

Please let us save the login info, retyping it every time takes a loot of time...

The android app doesn't support guest user login yet.

I am getting the same problem on my droid 2. Entering in the url all lower case, entering in my username as it appears, and correct password. when i attempt to sign in it says.

"Profile already logged in. Failed to Login"

Me and my wife share the computer at home. Both of us run Tonido under our own individual logins and leave it as it is when we start to office. However only one of us (the earliest who logged into tonido in the home computer) is able to access the computer thru their profile. The other one, on trying to login, gets "Profile Already Logged In" error. Is this how tonido is built (i.e.) cannot support multiple login's into the same machine?
