We are evaluating the Tonido cloud starter pack for our business use. I am testing the tonido desktop app but i dont know if there are any differences with the in house cloud app. So here are my questions:
1. Is there a way for a user to lock a file so no one else can edit it?
2. Is there version tracking? A recycle bin for deleted files?
3. Can tonido cloud connect to our existing file shares (smb shares on windows server)?
4. Can tonido cloud be proxied so that internal servers are shielded by our DMZ?
5. Is tonido cloud extensible?
6. Does it support single sign on with Active Directory authentication?

I may have more questions but these are the big ones right now. Thanks.

Not currently, there is conflict resolution management if files change locally and remotely. But no explicit locking support.

Version tracking support is built in but not exposed in the User interface. This will be in Tonido Cloud 1.2. Recycle bin for deleted files is coming in our roadmap.

No, Cloud manages its own files in its own storage.
So this is different from Tonido Desktop

Yes, you should be able to have a HTTP proxy in front of the internal servers.

5. Is tonido cloud extensible?

Tonido cloud runs on Apache/PHP and has a similar plugin structure as Tonido Desktop. You can add your own apps to add new functions. But the base Tonido cloud code itself is not extensible.

Tonido Cloud 1.1 supports Active Directory authentication.
We don't support SSO with AD yet, but that is in our roadmap for the Web interface.

Please let us know of any other questions.
