TonidoDrive does not use WebDAV, it uses a different protocol. So you cannot mount WebsharePro URLs in TonidoDrive.

Instead, you always use the main URL, say http://john.tonidoID.com and the appropriate credentials and all the shares are consolidated and shown.

If you want to use IP based access, you can do http://192.168.x.x:10001 as the server URL.

Madhan, thank you ... the http://192.168.x.x option works great.

Now my TonodoDrive works as fast as a standard network drive mapping when I'm at home (on the same network as my Tonodo server of course).

When I'm away I still get the WAN access via http://johnetc.tonidoID.com

A very good product! :D

Btw, even if you use johnetc.tonidoid.com inside your same network, it will automatically use your internal lan ip (192.168.x.x:10001) for accessing the server.

?? How can it do this ? How can the TonidoDrive client know it is on the same physical network as the server?

this uses the same mechanism as the iPhone or Android app. It can detect using a redirect mechanism to see that it is in the same lan. You can see the speed difference .
