Not sure where you wanted feedback posted, if not here, then my apologies. I installed the APK and it seems stable. A couple of notes:

Canceling an "in progress" download appears to still leave the file in the Downloads window. The file is partial and there is no indication of it being so. Not seeing a way to clean that up in the app. Status window is clear.

It looks like you've cleared up the background downloading issues. I was able to begin a download and go ahead and launch other applications. Coming back, the download appeared to still be going and the progress was updating.

**Wish List** An indication in the notification bar that the app is running (e.g. icon, download progress message, etc.).
**Wish List** Download pause/resume?

I'll keep pounding it when I get on my home wifi tonight. But I really like the improvement so far.

Currently, when a file is still in progress, you will see an hour glass icon and % downloaded next to it.

What are the minimum requirements in terms of Android version?

I can beta test for the wildfire S with android 2.3, but I guess that's too old for "cutting edge" anddroid apps

I'm getting a shiny new Nexus 7 for Christmas this year (already wrapped I believe). Don't think the wife will let me have it early but I would be glad to help out with beta testing in the new year.
