Android Problem with Tonidoplug

Hi everybody,

I've just bought a Vodafone Ideos mobile with the latest version of Android. After downloading the tonido app I couldn't access to my tonidoplug from the mobile phone. It says Error: couldn't reach Tonido device. I don't know if I have to configure the plug.

Any suggestions?

Input for 'Server' url should be http://account_in_plug.tonidoid.com/

Also, could you pl check if the 'Server' url (http://account_in_plug.tonidoid.com/) is accessible through a web browser from your phone?

When I type http://account_in_plug.tonidoid.com/ the reply is forbidden: you don't have permission to access / on this server

Can you access from your browser in your phone your Tonido page? http://<youraccount>.tonidoID.com

No it doesn't work. The reply is this:

Tonido Service Unavailable

The requested Tonido User Website is not currently available. The user's Tonido software could be switched off or there could be a connectivity problem.

I could not understand what's wrong and how to solve all this.

Go to your settings, make sure your Tonido Relay Enable is checked and the Tonido Network is enabled.

Make sure your TonidoPlug is connected to the internet.

After you do the above, open a browser and type the URL
http://<youraccount>.tonidoID.com/ui/core/index.html

and see if it connects.

Right know I'm encountering other problems with the plug. As soon as I solved them I'll try your suggestions. Thank you.

I've checked my relay service and actually is active. Any idea?

Moreover do I need to install the Tonido software on my pc? (since I'm just using the web interface right now). Actually I don't get the relationship between tonido software (the one you're supposed to download) and the web interface software.

If you type the address on your browser does it work?

You install the PC software and keep it running and when you use the mobile app you are actually connecting to your PC.
