Hi guys,

I'm trying to connect to my Tonido acct. using my Samsung Galaxy S2. In the account box I'm typing in "http://joebloggs.tonidoid.com" (obviously joebloggs is my acct name!) - then I'm filling in my p/word in lowercase. Tonido completes the Server box automatically for me.

Tonido tries to connect and then comes up with the message "couldn't reach the Tonido device".

I'm not particularly 'techie' - do I need to use the TonidoPlug to be able to connect ? If not, have you any idea of what's going wrong ?

You don't need a tonidoplug.
Are you able to connect to the above account name from a web browser either from a laptop or from your Android phone?

I am assuming you are running your tonido software and haven't shut it down.

You don't need to do anything else, it should *just* work.

I have tried to connect using a browser on a remote desktop but with no success. The message I am getting is :

"Tonido Service Unavailable

The Requested Tonido User Website is not currently available. The user's Tonido software could be switched off or there could be an connectivity problem."

I get this message all the time, i.e. whether the computer is shut down, switched on, logged in to Tonido or logged out of Tonido.

I have a PC and a Mac which are not networked, other than using the same broadband. I have set up separate Tonido accounts on both (two different logins) and both are acting exactly the same when I try to login remotely.

No doubt I've just done something totally silly when installing Tonido!

Please log into your Tonido software and make sure it is running. In the settings->Network under Relay, do you see it active or inactive?
If it is inactive you can toggle the "Enable Relay" checkbox and wait for it to become active again.

Would you believe, the relay is enabled and the status says active ?? Ggggrrrrr !!

Can you PM me the account names for this computer and the tonido.log file?

Hi Madhan,

It doesn't look like you received the PM that I sent you yesterday - well actually I sent 2 as the first one seemed to have got stuck in my outbox. I've just checked and they are both still in my outbox. Is there another way I can get hold of you if this isn't working, or perhaps by the fact that it looks as though the messages are stuck, it might give you an idea of what's going on ?

I haven't checked my messages yet, thats why it says it is in outbox. I will check them.

Hi I see no issues in your log file.

I just tried this URL in my browser:
http://sgrinhey.tonidoid.com/ui/core/index.html

And it connected fine. Can you double check it works for yoU?
