I am new to Tonido, I looked through the forums but did not see a similar post.
when using the Tonido native iOS app (version 2.11) on my iPhone 4 version 4.3.1 I can not login.
However,if i log in via a browser on another machine, I do not have a problem logging in.
If I use the integrated browser on the iPhone I can not log in. So naturally one would think it is something related to the iPhone, however I am not convinced it is the iphone. My rationale,

I changed the level of logging to the highest level on the Tonido server
I also started running a tcpip packet sniffer (wireshark) on my machine to see what is happening at the network layer.

when I try to initiate a login (either by my tonidoid id or by direct IP address) I see that a TCP Sync request is sent from my iphone ip address to the proper tcp port (10001) on my machine, however the Tonido server never sends a response.
when i look in the Tonido logs, the log shows that a TCPServerConnection request was made, but shows the wrong IP address. It should show the address of my iPhone, but it shows the loop back address instead (127.0.0.1).

So I am guessing that the Tonido application is saying that the login failed but it is really a time out and not really a userid / password issue, since the TCP Sync request is never acknowledged.

Below are my particulars along with extracts from my wireshark dump and the Tonido log

My environment:
Ubuntu 10.10
Relay Service: Active
Connection Status: Online
Network: Enabled
Connected to: 0 contacts
WebServer Port: 10001
Communication Port: 39595
Uptime: 0d 02:01:02.670
Version: 2.28.0.13941
SDK Version: 0.1.0.0
Configuration: TONIDO_LINUX

Tonido Log:
15:26:14:532 [22] [TCPServerConnection (default[#7])]:T: HTTP Request [127.0.0.1] [GET] [/]

the request really come from 10.10.10.236 and NOT the loop back address.

Well, so I figured out my initial problem. My firewall rule to allow traffic over port 10001 was not properly configured for all the addresses on my network, hence the issue.
However, I still have a problem but will post under a different heading
