Will this app be coming to Linux users too?

Thanks,

We couldn't figure out an easy way to do this on Linux. But we plan to release this code as open source so contributors might give us a patch for Linux/Mac.

Is it available, anyways, on the TonidoPlug? I don't see an install option for it, and it is not listed in the Apps menu.

No, it will not be available on the Tonido plug as there is no screen display associated with it.

So this app takes a screen capture of the host PC Tonido is running on? Is this still Windows-only, or have you figured out the Linux part of it? I don't run Tonido on a desktop, but assume a command is passed to the host PC to grab the screen and is copied into a location that the web interface shows? If you don't have it working, I can give it a try I guess.

Yes currently Windows only. If you have some ideas on how to get it to work under Linux that would be nice.

I'll have to try it out on Windows some day to see what it does exactly. If it's a "video" of the screen then I've seen Java applets running on Linux that can do that through a browser. Was it Vyew.com or something?

Yes, it is screen grabs of the display.
