Hi!

I might be late to the party with this, but I need to share my excitement. My new Apple TV (3rd generation) arrived yesterday and I am amazed at how nice it works as a streaming vehicle for content on my TonidoPlug.

I was surprised that when I fired up Tonido on my iPod, the AirPlay icon showed up, and I was able to play anything from my music library on my plug through Apple TV which is connected to my stereo via an optical cable.

This is fantastic! Why don't you guys advertise how slick this works? I have speakers in every room in my house and this is a great solution for using my iPod as a remote while sitting on the deck. Who needs Sonos when you have Apple TV, AirPlay and devices we already own?

My previous solution for listening to music through the house was to make sure my computer was on, iTunes was running, my computer was connected to my stereo and make sure my iTunes library was up to date with all my new music.

My head is spinning! Now I am anxiously waiting for the Fed Ex guy to show up with my new iPad!

By the way, I was also impressed that I was able to watch a movie from my TonidoPlug through my wife's iPad mirrored to the Apple TV which plays on my LCD TV. Very nice!!

just wait until you can jailbreak that puppy, then your Tonido and your ATV will have tons of fun together

my Tonido streams my entire video collection to my jailbroken ATV (2nd gen), as well as all my music and pics

Wow this is really cool!

I purchased my Tonido plug not long ago and I just finished moving all my data over to it (I attached a SATA hard drive).

The idea of streaming my music from the plug to an Apple TV is really appealing. My problem (if you're an Apple lover ) is that I have an android tablet and android phone. Will I be able to use my tablet or phone as a remote to tell my Tonido plug to stream music to an Apple TV?

I'm assuming your phone is acting as a remote between the two. If not, please correct me!
