Wow I thought I would have lots of problems because I seen a post on here to install this and it has like 6 pages!

All I did in the command line was this:

Code:
root@TonidoPlug2:~# wget http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/7.7/sc/33761/logitechmediaserver_7.7.2~33761_all.deb

Then I went in webmin System > Software Packages > From local file

Then I picked /root/logitechmediaserver_7.7.2~33761_all.deb and clicked on "Install"

It came back like this:

Then I went to http://tonidoplug2:9000 and set it up from there. Now it's scanning all my music files. It looks like it will work good.

As it is scanning the status info is neat. It don't see any players yet because the IP address has changed from what I had it running on before.

I have just received my plug2 and also want to install LMS. Why is your interface different then mine? My tonido software is updated to 2.5, is that a difference?

In the past I have fiddled around with some linux things but do you want to give a little bit more step by step instruction?

I have downloaded the package, it's in the root folder. But it's not visible from the apps section. It must have the so extension?

THe original poster is using an add-on package called Webmin. That's why his/her screen looks completely different.

Djee, it's like a big riddle. Because you mentioned webmin I searched for that and found the communitywiki:http://www.tonido.com/communitywiki/doku.php

I can say I have had my bit of experience but I think the tonido info is a bit scattered and difficult to found. But then it gave a good feeling when I succeeded also in installing LMS.
