hi,
i locked my self out of the webgui.
i enabled "Access allowed only by IP"! and then i accidently deleted the IP-range.

now i can not access the web gui:
when i try to connect: http://<IP>:10001/
i get:
"Tonido Web Access is disabled." error 403

now my question: how can i re-enable it via ssh?
which file has to be edited?

Unfortunately, this is stored in an encrypted db.

There are two options:
1. Delete the profile dir and create/recover a new profile
2. Setup SSH tunnel via Plug's SSH to port 10001 in the plug and connect via that tunnel so that requests would appear to come from 127.0.0.1.

hi madhen,

thank you for the information. i will have a try on the ssh way, tonight.

is there a way to simply disable or to switch this option? (back to: block the IPs in the list)

nice regards

No there is no way to disable this, if this were it won't be a good security measure.

hi,

i did the ssh thing, but more easy.

i used putty to connect to my tonidoplug via port 22 ssh,
i configured a tunnel: local 10001 remote 127.0.0.1:10001
and just connected to the tonidoplug with the root login.
after that i browsed with my firefox to http://127.0.0.1:10001 and reconfigured what i did wrong.

case closed and solved :-)

thank you.

nice regards
reinhard
