We don't have any at this time. It is not a straight forward issue as we are seeing a software hang under some conditions. We use a thirdparty library for torrent support and need to make sure it is completely resolved before enabling it back, as otherwise it results in the Tonido software being completely unavailable (which is quite serious).

No updates yet. We are looking at workarounds etc.

Would you be open to the idea of allowing those who wish to, to return the unit for a full refund if the intention when purchasing the device was to use torrent.

We are working on a fix for the native torrent app. We don't have an ETA on that but hopefully we will be getting that out with next update.

But here is the workaround. Install "Transmission", a linux based torrent app.
Here are the steps to install transmission.

 # apt-get update
# apt-get install transmission-cli transmission-common transmission-daemon

To start/stop transmission, use this command

 # /etc/init.d/transmission-daemon stop
# /etc/init.d/transmission-daemon start

Once transmission is started, you can connect to the web UI with the URL : http://<your_tp2_ip>:9091/transmission/web/

BTW, if you don't like to use transmission and not satisfied with the plug, please send an email to support@codelathe.com (referring this forum thread) to return the plug.
