Just receive my Plug2 and after initial set-up began installing apps. I discovered the torrent app is not available on this new plug or the older plug which I have had for a year or so.

It is available on the pc based versions of Tonido.

Anyone know?

Can you give us an ETA? The torrent app is one of the main reasons I bought a TonidoPlug.

same here, just received the plug2 and no torrent. Don't punish your early adopters, reward them.

Same here. The only reason I bought the Plug2 was for the torrent, which is not on it.

I rather dislike the idea of Tonido disabling software on my local device.

If I had known this was the Tonido model, I never would have purchased the device in the first place. I won't return it -caveat emptor. But I will find another plug computer without a babysitter.

I agree. One of the biggest selling points for this company is "the private cloud" idea. Them disabling accounts, runs counter to that. To make matters worse, there wasn't a outage notice or something. It wouldn't had made it any better, but it feels better to be in the loop.

Please note software is never disabled on your local device. Once it is installed it is always there. But we do make changes to the software available for install.
