TonidoPlug: More then 2 torrents and no GUI?

Hopefully something wrong with my end, but if I add more then 2 torrents to Tonido Torrent, the Web GUI doesn't show any torrents. The torrents are still downloading, as I can SSH into the system and see the files change, but I have no way of knowing form the Web GUI what the activity is on the files. ?

I have tried with both firefox and IE, hoping it was a browser issue.

Are you checking the GUI remotely? If so, the upload speed might be too much for your network to handle.

Go to Settings -> Network -> Lower the upload speed.

Ok. I'll lower it. It was already set at 100 Kb/s, but I can lower it more. I only have 4 running, so my network should be able to handle 400 Kb/s.

Speaking of speed. Is that the overall speed or the per torrent speed?

Hi,
I am wondering if you are hitting a known bug regarding XML encoding.

Can you issue the following command in your browser to see if we are seeing malformed XML because of some special character in torrent name.

http://<your plugIP>:<your plug port>/app/torrent/gettorrentstatus

If torrent name is the issue, then firefox will complain about malformed XML.

We already have a fix for this ready to be released.
Also, upload/download speed shouldnt be an issue and torrent will download fine.. only the UI will have trouble displaying.

I would like a patch especially since I can no longer tell if the torrents are done.

Hi,
Thanks for checking.

The fixed release is in its final test phase and will be released in days.

At this point, you can issue the same command (gettorrentstatus) and look at the following tag. If the tag is 4 or 5, then your torrent download is complete.
