Hey all.

I'm attempting to follow the instructions here http://www.tonido.com/communitywiki/doku.php?id=advanceduses:usbboot and I'm running into a road block. I can't free up enough space on my internal hard drive to untar the rootfs. Right now I'm sitting at about 606M used out of what looks to be around 730M. I used the internal drive as a web server for a little while before, but I've already gotten rid of all my content, and I'm not sure what else is safe to get rid of. I've cleared my apt cache. I've done apt-get autoremove. I've done apt-get clean, and the programs I know I've downloaded via apt-get say they'd only free up 10s of kilobytes if I were to remove them. I'm not comfortable enough with this stuff to just stat deleting things randomly on the internal flash memory, so this is where I ask for help...

I either need tips for further space-freeing (already tried searching for large files i.e. find / -type f -size +50M)

OR

if there's a relatively painless way to just revert the internal flash memory back to it's original retail state, I'd be happy to go that route too...I'd almost prefer it just to start clean.

Thanks for any input

If you're talking about the TP2, I did this to wipe the internal flash and start from factory default.

Worked well for me.
