Attempted to update Tonido 2 today and now am unable to connect via URL with web browser. I can connect using SSH using Putty, I can connect using Windows 7 Network and access files. It appears that the UI from the update is not loading. I am attaching the most recent log file. I have had no problems before this. Websharepro.dll is also not loading but I do not know is this is related because the problems were occuring before I updated the apps.

I attempted using different browsers, I attempted starting and stopping the relay service, I have not used the apps that were discontinued, so I do not think that I had those files to delete prior to install of the new update. I have checked the cables, and started and stopped the device. Other than dropkicking it across the room I think I have tried everything.

I told my son-in-law that this was a seamless solution for his backup problems, I hope this is an easy fix.

If you try to connect via browser using local tonidoplug ip and 10001 port does it work?

I do see some network connection issue with relay server.

No that is the exact problem I am having. I get a blank screen when I log in using the local log in and a quick communication error that I barely catch that says "Unable to communicate with server" and under the "More details pane it states "Error: Failed loading translations"

Are you running Tonido on the plug or on Windows?
Your attached log files show that Tonido is running on Windows.

I am not sure what you mean when you ask if I am "running Tonido on the plug or on Windows?" I did not know there was a difference. I guess I am running it on Windows, since I cannot access the plug except to get to the files from the network access on windows and not from the web access.

Tonido software actually is installed runs inside the plug as well. So when you connect to it, you can create a URL to the plug and it's HDD.

*You don't need to setup Tonido software on your computer*. It is superflous. All you do is access the computer's disks when you connect to your computer's tonido software.

To connect to the plug, first open http://www.tonidoplug.com/ip and then see the plug's tonido software and hit connect.

Yes which I have done (multiple times) and all I get is a blank screen. As I have noted in previous posts I believe that the GUI is not loading. I can access the disk from my network but not from the web access which mean that I cannot use Webshare Pro. It would not be a problem. I could be perfectly happy to access the disk from my networked computers, but the real value of this system for me is to be able to access from the web, which as of now since the update I cannot do. Again. I can access the plug from my networked computers at home using Windows 7 network and sharing center, however when I try to access the plug using the above noted web access all I get is a blank screen.

It is possible the software update didn't go through.

You could try doing a reinstall of the software.

You need to use Putty to SSH into the plug and type the following commands

Code:
initctl emit tstop
cd /root/app/tonido
wget http://patch.codelathe.com/tonido/live/installer/armel/tonido.tar.gz
tar -zxvf tonido.tar.gz
initctl emit tstart

That worked, Thanks for all your help. I love this plug
