OK , I had lot of problems upgrading , it was not clear you had to wipe a lot of things before upgrading. So I was in deep s... after upgrading.
"psyphi" save my day with his post and the exact lines to stop , delete the plugins and restart. Many many thanks to him. ( I also wipe most of my files , just in case of !!!)

But now the plug seems to work with the browser on my desktop, but :

The application on the ipad does not work anymore ( and no new version in the store )
The application on the iphone does not work anymore ( and no new version in the store )
The application on the blackberry does not work anymore ( and no new version in the store )

the applications just close after something like 15 seconds...no way to get something working ( reboot, wipe, reinstall, ...)

So what can I do ?

We had informed about this change earlier, since some apps are getting deprecated.

We are using the iPhone/iPad every day. Do you have all the plugins "enabled"?

I am not quite sure about the "plugins" but all the applications ( explorer, websharepro, media server ) are updated , installed and running version 2.51.0.18312.

Is there something else that I forgot ?

Yes , I can see it and login with the browser on the laptop and the ipad.

I went a little bit further, I wipe the tonido application on the iphone and the ipad and reinstall it ( so my credentials are gone and I had to type them in ) now I have :

- login failed with reason (invalid login credentials) on the ipad

- Failure Server might not be running on the Iphone

- The blackberry is back online with the reisntall of the Tonido app 6 ( but it takes a very long time to show even a small jpeg )

? is there an easy way to get back to the working release of the plug ?

invalid login credentials do really mean that the login information is incorrect. Also, if you tried the wrong password too many times, you will have to wait a bit before you can try again.

it is unlikely the new release causes the iOS app to not work anymore.

It was working great with the other release, I think may it is not working anymore with the version 4 of IOS ??
I can tell you that I know my account and password , it works with the browser but it does not work with the app with the exact same credentials and this is true on Iphone and on Ipad.

Please ca I have the easy way to go back to the working release , I need this plug to work.

This has to be a config issue.
Lets try and troubleshoot this. Before that, we need to try and understand the environment. Please answer the following

1. What is your iOS version?
2. What is the version of the Tonido iOS app
3. What is the version of TonidoPlug server? (The software)
4. Are you using TonidoPlug1 or TonidoPlug2 ?
5. Are you connecting to the server using the TonidoID or are you using IP address?
6. If you are using TonidoID, are you connected to the Wifi in the same network as the TonidoPlug?
7. If you are using Wifi, disable Wifi and try to connect to TonidoPlug using 3G only and see if it fails.

no , tonido in 192.168.1.xxx and the ipad is on 192.168.2.yyy

ipad without 3G , wifi only 16GO first model, but on the iphone 3G does not work either.

The reason I was asking to check on 3g instead of wifi, is that, when the iOS app detects that the Tonidoserver it is attempting to connect is in the same network, then it will use that internal IP.

If your wifi is in the same net (you have mentioned 192.168.2 for ipad and 192.168.1 for Tonido but if the subnetmask is 255.255.0.0 then it will still be same net), then ios app will try to do local connect.

But if you have setup your network to be "guest" vs "normal user" then the port may not be accessible.

I am surprised to see that you are not able to connect to tonidoplug over 3g as well on your iPhone.
In the case of iPhone using 3G only (Wifi diabled), what error do you see?

Also, can you confirm that, when you connect to TonidoPlug over Browser and go to the "Application" , do you see the apps (Explorer and Webshare/pro) as enabled (not suspended) ?
