Hello, and thanks in advance for this...

I am yet to successfully configure the TonidoPlug2 wireless to connect with my Airport Extreme base station using encryption. It works fine if I turn of the security on the router, but that's obviously not going to work.

Any suggestions on Airport settings? What about AES, TKP, etc.?

To get N speeds, you must use WPA2 and AES.

I'd be happy if it would connect.

Setting the AEBS to WPA2 Personal and using AES results in TP2 not connecting.

Is there another setting I might try (besides no security, which does work)?

I am using airport express in WPA2 mode along with my TP2. But I have them in adjacent rooms and it works all the time. TP2 doesn't have any wireless antennas, so it can't cover longer ranges. Not sure if that is causing any issues. Also make sure you have the latest tonido version as we updated wireless drivers couple of releases earlier.

@postman

Same problem here with TP2, WPA2 encryption and Apple Time Capsule (2nd generation).

TP2 and encryption works with other router (dlink-825) on 2.4GHz band, NOT 5 GHz band!

@Tuxedo:

Are spaces allowed in the SSID for TP2 to recognize it? Might be my problem.

Spaces should be okay in SSID. After setting as SSID, if it shows up in the list of available access points (when trying from a wireless client), then you should be good there.

BTW TP2 wireless supports only 2.4GHz. It doesn't do dual band support.
