After the last update to the plug:
1. Rebooting is a pain... keeps cycling power
2. Even when it manages to come up and stay on following are some issues:
a. Webshare UserID is now limited in size. I dont like that. You had put a similar restriction on the size of the passcode which is a pain too. Please fix this.
b. I lost the ability to access webshare url link from the internet.

Please fix this with a high priority, this has thrown me off the grid.

HELP!!!!!!!!!

Oh and yes... accessing the server via http://www.accountName.tonidoid.com:10001/ also does not work anymore...

What exactly is the issue.

This is because of the wide variations in systems we have to run on.

URLs are of the form http://accountname.tonidoid.com or http://accountname.tonidoid.com:10001 Adding www won't work.

- yes www was a typo in my error reporting.
- the external links (over internet) that used to work prior to the last update no longer work.
- one can test if a certain share is accessible from the network, when creating a share, but that reports that it cannot be accessed. there is something wrong...
- using port forwarding (the ip changed so I also went ahead and changed my router accordingly)

I will follow up on the User ID and Passcode in a separate thread.

Make sure that the webshare applications are active and enabled.

That feature is no longer available in the new releases. It will be removed.

Madaan hi, if I go to "my shared files" and click on Email URL, a dialog box pops up where there is a link called ... Check if Share is Internet accessible. When i click there it says Not accessible! click here for help.

So I am not sure why you say this feature is not available. If you are planning on taking this feature out, I would have to return this and three other TPs back. There are way too many features that are being defeatured, and I am not too happy about this.

In any case please resolve this issue for me. It has been a while since I reported.

That feature was hardly used based on our server statistics. So with new infrastructure update for higher scalability, features that were hardly used and couldn't be maintained were removed.

If you remained in the older versions that feature works but not in the newer versions.

I updated the software very regularly. This last update broke many things. The "Check if share is Internet accessible" is there in the latest update. Not sure why you say it has been removed.

However... Please resolve my accessibility from the Internet issue... Or are you saying this capability has been removed as well...

The feature has been removed in the server side already, but will be removed in the client UI in 2.51.

For internet accessibility: if you go to settings, have you enabled Tonido Network?

Please change log level to trace and then post your log.

Under Tools, Settings, then under general tab, under status, network shows enabled. Similarly under Network tab "Enable Network" checkbox is checked.
