"My Computer"on laptop not visible on Tonido Home

Have just installed TP2. Before that I was using just the software on my laptop. When installing TP2, instead of creating a new account, I recovered by existing account.

A USB hard disk is connected to the TP2 which I am able to see and access on Tonido Home. But I am not able to see "My Computer" of my laptop. Thus, I am not able to even copy files from my laptop drive to the USB connected to the TP2.

Pl help

When connecting to your TP2 you wont see MyComputer from your laptop. You will only see the USB drives attached and access the root file system in TP2.

Thanks for the prompt response.

Then how do I transfer files to my personal cloud ( USB drive connected to TP2) when I am not in the same network. Is there any other software. The whole purpose of personal cloud gets defeated if I cannot upload files.

You can use TonidoSync. Install sync on your laptop and sync the files to USB connected to TP2.
