My problem is the following:
I plugged a 60 GB HDD in tonido and i cannot see it properly mounted. I read the threads in this forum and i have run the command
fdisk -l /dev/sda

Disk /dev/sda: 60.0 GB, 60011642880 bytes
64 heads, 32 sectors/track, 57231 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 2048 * 512 = 1048576 bytes
Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
Disk identifier: 0x00000000

Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sda1 * 1 1 0 0 Empty
Partition 1 does not end on cylinder boundary.

When i write ls -H the 60GB HDD is not there. I believe that the problem is at the last line of the message from the shell shown above i.e. "Partition 1 does not end on cylinder boundary.". Can you please help me properly mount my HDD? Thank you all.

P.S. I do not want to boot from the internal HDD. I want just to use it like the external USB HDD.

Ok...not sure how you created the format.
But it starts and ends at same sector, which means that the partition has 0 bytes space.
You need to repartition the drive. You can do that connecting to a windows machine, removing all partitions and add new partition with 60GB space.
After doing that you can connect back to the plug and use it.
