Hello. Just started using Tonidoplug2. Love how it's working on my local network, but I've got a problem with the date.

When I go into TonidoPlug Admin under the Information tab, the date reads at the time of this post as "Mon Dec 19 06:41:00 EST 2011". The problem is that the current time should read the local time of "Sun Dec 18 22:41:00 EST 2011". I click the calendar icon to change the date and time. I can change the date but not the time. However, even when I change the date, it resets itself to 8 hours ahead and shows the wrong date again.

Not sure what else to do to fix the time. UTC-5 US/Eastern is the Time zone I have set.

Input to fix this will be much appreciated.

Thank you for reporting this issue.
Will try to reproduce the issue and get back to you on that.

Well, I guess this is a bump since I haven't seen a reply. I just tried it again after a software update. I can change the date, the time zone, but not the time itself. When I go to type in the numbers, it's like the field simply does not respond to my input.

Thanks to anyone who can help!

Hi, I tried changing date and time with TonidoPlug2.
I have no problem changing them.
Also once I change the date and/or time they persist between reboots.
Just a note, when you try to change time, you cannot highlight the digits and try to overwrite them. Instead, use backspace to wipe the contents of the box and then type new value.

Try rebooting your plug. If you still have issues, increase the log level in tonido settings to trace. After that, try changing the date/time. It should fail like you described. Switch to "Logs" tab in the same UI and download the tonido log.
Please upload the downloaded log here.

LOL! I've been using computers for the last 25 years - it never dawned on me, not even once, to delete the time in the field with my backspace button. Such a good reminder that even when we know a lot, we can still miss the little things.

Thank you for taking the time to answer my question, including testing it on your end. I appreciate the response.
