i have got a problem with my tonidoplug 2, i loose the server after a while and can not reconnect, when i try do do tonido.com/ip, your site can see the server but can not connect. when i unplug and plug the tonidoplug2 back in, i can connect to the tonidoplug again and after a few hours the same problem occurs again. please help! it is like it is on a time out.

Is your connection to the plug wired or wireless?

Are you running other apps like torrent on it?

tonidoplug2 runs on wired connection,
i have torrent installed, but it is suspended.
also installed:
-back up
-tonido shell
-jukebox
-workspace
-sync
-explorer
-web share pro
-media server
-search

What exactly are you doing when this happens? Any specific activity? backup, torrent etc?

no, nothing is done.

When you cannot connect, it means tonido is not accessible.
To figure out if the problem is with tonido instance or OS itself, try to SSH into the plug when it hangs. Get your plug IP from your home router at that time, as tonidoplug.com/ip won't be reliable if tonido instance is not running.

Also what kind of HDD have you connected to the plug.

well i used ssh, i can conect to the ip address, it prompts me for a password which i do not no, as soon i type in the ip address plus :1001, ssh cant find the plug/server

The password is the one you set during the initial plug set-up. If you did not set a password the default is "nosoup4u" The username is "root".

You do not need to add :10001 to the ssh address.

Did you run update the tonido plug software when prompted from the web interface?
