I am just curious how far in the future until a dev can upload their apps and not have to wait a month to get it to hit the market.

I submitted 1.2.5 version of Tonido Shell about a month ago, but it still has not hit the market. I haven't even bothered to submit 1.3.0 recently. When it comes to fixing bugs, the current market makes me as nimble as a rock when a bug surfaces that needs fixing.

I am not upset, I am just expressing that in the future, I may shy away from submitting directly to the market because I just can't fix bugs on the market. The market is on version 1.2.0, but even if I have fixed the issues on 1.2.x or 1.3.x, it doesn't matter because I can't get my version to market in anything that is remotely timely. At least if people get used to pulling the app from the forum, I can quickly resolve issues there.

I realize the main focus is on the Tonido Core apps etc., and that 3rd party app focus is secondary, but it would be nice to know how much effort and time I should invest in the market idea.

Sorry about the delay. I didn't even know that your app was waiting in the queue. I think you can expect a turnaround of 1 week for submission to app in the market.

No worries. 1.2.5 isn't a huge deal. What I really want to get is 1.3.0 released at this point. I will send a submission for 1.3.0 soon.

I have no issue publishing either on the market or forum; I just know these last two times it has taken f..o..r..e..v..e..r . The market is my ideal choice because more people will use it because it is easier to install.
