Hi
I was helping a friend installing tonido remotely and I found that the default port 10001 was already taken by another process.
So the solution was finding which process was taking it so we could access the admin page. After the process killed I gained access to admin and changed the port to other than default.

Process taking the port 10001: lxctcoms.exe apparently Lexmark Printer Communications.

I wonder if there another way to change the default port of tonido admin. Maybe a config xml file where the port is 'defaulted'.

Hi,
You can change the default port two ways.
(1) You can change the default port in a xml file which should be present in the path %AppData%\Tonido\data\configex.xml
Open this xml file in a text editor and look for the following paragraph.
<rowentry>
<name>HttpPort</name>
<type>int</type>
<value>10001</value>
</rowentry>
Change the port value to a new desired value.

(2) You can change it in the UI (of course, tonido should have started successfully in the first place).
This should be in the Tonido admin UI. Settings->Network->Settings-> HTTP Port. Here click the change button to change the default
tonidor port. Tonido will be started in the new port on restart.

Hope this helps.
Thanks
