If you want to have private access to your photographs, then Tonido Photos is a superior option than using Tonido Webshare's gallery mode.

Here are the steps:

- Create a group with just your profile as the only member. Do no invite any other peer to that group. I typically name the group as "personal"
- Share the folder containing the photos to that group

This allows you to comment or mark photos as favorite without sharing with others. Also it gives you the nifty search /tag facility.

Tonido Photos will cache images to improve performance after viewing it once..
