Would like to see guest access control for Thots so that public blog topics can be viewed only by family/friends. This would be a great feature to share family news with a private group, especially those who do not have social network accounts.

One more request for Thots. It appears as though the categories are not available from the public feed. When you guys add the guest access control, can you also make the categories available to the reader so they can navigate posts by category?

Don't mean to be pushy, but any timeline on guest access control? I'm really wanting to start a blog for distant relatives and I am trying to avoid using blogspot, tumblr, etc.

IMO both guest access control and categories and timeline availability are essential. Even direct access to latest posts would be very useful for guest users.

That features really would make Thots a more useful blog editor and as easy to use for guests as it is to add content for admins.

Even though it is nice to post blogs publicly. I still use Google + to share things with my friends. I think it would be genius to allow guests/users to have a link to share Thots with when they login very much like the music player. That way when you post your Thot, you could share it with a certain group of users like a circle (Google +) and have them comment on it and visa versa. Not a sermon but just a Thot!
