i have just joined up and installed what is needed for mac, pc, iphone, but find although this is a good bit of kit, it fails so bad on video files playing on the iphone, ie. avi's mp4 are fine, but is there anyway of getting the app updated to play all file formats as airvideo plays every format on the planet.......

We are working to improve compatibility, but currently we don't do any transcoding so not all formats play.

But the only way it can be improved is to transcode is it not. ?
I wanted to buy tonidoid webshare but I don't see any point as I have thousands of video files 700mb+ and for me to convert them all from avi to mp4 would take an age. It's funny how someone has put a lot of work in tonido in to making it look good yet leaving such an important feature out like encoding seems such a waste of hard work. It would be terrible to leave it this way.
