In the explorer mode, it would be great to have the ability to select multiple files to upload, instead of one by one.

Thanks.

For windows, There is a native application to allow directory/multiple file upload for Tonido with webshare pro (which is available in Tonido Plug).

http://www.tonido.com/application_download.html and download the
"Tonido WebsharePro Drag-and-Drop Uploader"

The Uploader works well; but setup is non-intuitive and it only works on Windows. I have two family members with Macs and then there are those times using a public computer.

HTML does not make it easy to upload multiple files in one batch. But is there a new feature of HTML5 that can be used?

A compromise could be the ability to upload a zip file that automatically gets unzipped. Or a button on zip files to manually unzip the file.

This goes for both Explorer and WebSharePro.

We are working on getting uploader running on Macs and Linux. It is fully open source at this point.

Your other points are noted as well.

Perhaps something similar to Dropbox could be done? It allows the user to select multiple files for upload via the web interface.

Couldn't a java applet or flash be used for the multiple file upload if enabled. It doesn't need to be enabled by default but an option would be nice. If not something fancy like that then why not put additional browse buttons/fields? Just a thought.

Doesn't WebDAV work for you? You can do much much more than just upload.

WebDAV is good enough for me; though I have yet to get my sister with the Apple to try. I'm a little worried that there are few apps that support WebDAV.

It would be nice to have drag and drop upload in the web browser, particularly when on a public computer; but it's not important because I don't expect anyone to regularly upload from a public computer.

I often access my TonidoPlug from work. I'm restricted in the software that I can download. Also, does WebDAV work remotely?
