I seem to have fixed buffering problem in Jukebox by changing to "Normal" rather than CD mode: MP3 tracks were only playing about 60% then stopping and moving on to next track. (e.g. 1.41 secs out of say 3.16) but I have the same problem if I use the "built-in" Tonido player - which I like, and seems to be the default for Guests.

I see from other users that they seemed to fix the problem by changing network speeds from 15kbps to 'unlimited', but I can't find the setting for this. Has it been discontinued? Any other suggestions to stop this problem? (All on local network, btw - not over the WAN)

TIA

Are you using a TonidoPlug? Are you using the web interface? MP3 tracks should play fine on LAN, if there is an issue then it is most likely a LAN connection issue.

Yes, TonidoPlug2. Web interface Firefox 12.0. On LAN. They were .ogg tracks.

Seems it may be related to Tonido's 'built-in conversion' to MP3. Files being .ogg, I deleted and uploaded .mp3 versions and the problem seems to have been resolved. I picked up this 'hint' from a posting March 2011 where you said you'd improved this facility.

[non-mp3 formats are transcoded to mp3 before being streamed and that causes the CPU load. We know of some choppiness on playback and will try to get a fix for the issue. - MadHan]

Thnks.
