I am a party photographer.
My hardware: LenovoThinkpad Edge with Intel 1x2 wifi mini half card, windows 7
I need to set up Tonido to allow unlimited access to photo and video files in a private cloud environment, with and without internet access. (I occasionally work on a beach or boat) I would like to provide clients with the ability to view and download only these files onto their iPhone, or android device.
How do I accomplish this?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Moe

Your laptop running Tonido needs to have a LAN address. Say 192.168.0.x

Just ask your clients to connect to http://192.168.0.x:10001 via web browser or via mobile clients.

Sometimes, I am not the brightest bulb in the box, but I finally got it figured out, for the most part. I set up the guest account (hotshots) and gave it a password.(hotshots1) This is public so I don't care who sees it. When trying to log in I am told that the password is invalid. I need to post this info on a sign so I don't have to bother answering text messages or emails. I need this to work with and without internet access. (WiFi Direct)
BTW, this program is a lifesaver. I have been working with more techies than you can imagine and they all tell me that what want to do can't be done. Here I am doing it. Tonido and WiFi Direct make all this possible.
When all is said and done, I will send you a private email to explain exactly what we are doing. You will be pleasantly surprised.

OK! I figured out how to get there but the folders I selected to be visible are not available.
They can be accessed by copying and pasting the link to public photos that I set up but if I use the IP address, I get there but the folders are not listed.
What am I doing wrong?
Like I said before, I am not the brightest bulb in the box.

How did you make the folders visible?
Did you share these folders to the hotshots account via the "My Shared Files"?

Go to My Shared Files, and click on the share you have created and on the permissions and make sure the user is given read/write permissions.

Are you running 2.50?

yes

I just purchased Tonido Pro upgrade as well.
for some reason I can't connect to your server so the activate button didn't show up.

After checking on my order I learned that it is in "pending" status
