I am very new to Tonido and i am still learning how to use it to its full potential. i was recently surprised with a second laptop, so i was trying to figure out how to use tonido between all three of my devices: 1 laptop that will stay home, one laptop that will always be with me and 1 windows phone. my phone is able to access the home laptop through tonido, but my mobile laptop can only view its own files when i log-in to tonido. i would like my mobile laptop to be able to view the home laptops files, not its own. will i need separate id's for this? is it possible to have my mobile device communicate with each of the laptops when i wish?

i know this is very much a pathetic 1st world problem, but i would really appreciate anyone that is willing to help me out.

If you need to access files in the laptop in your home, you just need one install of Tonido (in the laptop that stays home connected to the internet).

You can then just use the home laptop address in any of the devices (mobile phones or other computers) to get to it.

It looks like you have installed another Tonido server in the laptop that you take with you and you are loggin into that?

yes i am normally logged into it on the mobile pc. so does that mean i need to uninstall tonido somehow on the mobile pc? how would access the home pc through tonido because it looks like to me that each pc's address showing in the tonido software are the same address.

To access your home pc, just use the address of your homepc (http://youhomepc.tonidoid.com) in your mobile pc's browser.

For mobile devices such as windows or iPhone, use the mobile application or you can still use the browser (not optimal for mobile)
