After installing Tonido I tried moving the data files into my ~/Documents folder (instead of the ~/ directory), but it wouldn't connect, so I trashed the data files and recovered my account, but now the relay won't load.

In reading through the forum it appears one can't re-use an account name after recovery, which begs the question as to why the option for recovery even exists... what exactly are you recovering if not your data or your username?

I would really appreciate being able to use my original username - is there really no way for that account to be reset?

You should be able to recover your account.

We haven't been able to reproduce this issue or see why this happened.
By any chance did you try account recovery in another machine for this account after recovery in this machine?
