Regarding the compatibility of media server

I followed the instruction given in the support docs to set up the media server on my tonidoplug2 connecting with a USB HD.

I was able to locate the server and also the files inside using the file explorer of window, but when it come to Window Media Player, I only got a blank server listed inside the WMP interface and there is nothing inside :cry:

The same case happened when I tired to use TWONKY on my android tablet to browse the media server.

I am wondering is it a problem of wrong setting or the compatibility of the tonido media server.

Any help would be appreciated! :lol:

DLNA protocol is pretty finicky, we have verified compatibility with XBOX360 and PS3 and a few other media players. Other DLNA players it really depends.

Thanks. Do you mean that WMP is not supported also?

Yes, we haven't tested it. Which version of WMP are you using and what OS?
