When I delete a profile does it also remove my Tonido ID? I ask because I was testing out Tonido on my laptop and put in my ID. Now I'd like to transfer my ID to my home computer because it's on 24/7. I've really enjoyed Tonido thus far and would like to reserve my original ID with Tonido.

Thanks,

Branden

Yep. Thanks Kilis.

If you delete your profile, you will lose the ability to reuse that ID (forever).

Start Tonido on the other machine. (Just so it creates the directory structures) stop it.
Move the profile directory to your other machine and paste it in the tonido/data directory. Just restart Tonido and you will see your profile listed.

After moving it successfully, please dont use your Tonido profile in the original machine. If you do, your changes will never go to the other machine.

If Tonidoid's are deleted forever won't that make problems later. There should be like a 3 month recycle schedule or something to free up the abandoned Tonidoid's floating around. Just a thought. Or maybe there could be website devoted to managing your Tonidoid that could handle ID movement notices deletions and such. Might be too much trouble for what it's worth but I'll let y'all decide that. A recycle schedule would be smart IMHO.
