Hi

I have just discovered Tonido, and it seems to be just what I need. However, I don't seem to be able to run it on my dedicated windows server, as whenever I log off it stops running. Is this normal?? I thought the whole point of this software was to run it on a server (which is always on and has a fixed IP) so clients can stay in sync at all times. I have tried running it with Fire Deamon, but Tonido just starts once then nothing happens.

Have I missed something, or is this software not suited to this scenario?

Tonido runs as a user level app and not as a service. So to keep running, make sure the user you are running as Tonido doesn't get logged out.

Ok, thanks. Seems an odd way to implement something people might want to install and run remotely, but I am sure you have good reasons for this. Wish I had spotted this before I went pro!
