Hi,

After using Tonido on an XP machine I decided to migrate it to running on a newly built Ubuntu Server box (the exact OS version is "Linux sa-hub 2.6.28-15-generic #49-Ubuntu SMP Tue Aug 18 19:25:34 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux").

After looking through the FAQ and forums I've got tonido up-and-running and can login. Unfortunately, I don't see any applications. It thinks the basic apps (e.g. Thots) are installed ( from the Apps -> Manage link ) but I just can't see them. I'm mystified - any ideas?

It is possible there is a archictecture mismatch.
If you start Tonido, you will see Tonido's log under the ~/tonido/logs directory in a file called tonido.log.

When Tonido starts up, it prints up the architecture, something like this in Windows, can you post yours?

OK, the problem is that in 64-bit mode Tonido thinks that the plugins it has, cannot run.

Please try this workaround and let us know if it works.

Stop Tonido.

In your tonido directory, go to the plugins directory. Inside there should be each app directory. In each app directory, you will find a file called manifest.xml, simply open it in a text editor and change the text for <Arch></Arch>.

Change the value inside the tags to x86_64 or make it blank.

Restart Tonido, see if your apps show up.

That worked! (Perhaps that could be added to the 64bit FAQ?)
