A pioneer in Personal Cloud products and services, CodeLathe offers turnkey Personal Cloud Solutions to leading ISPs, network and external storage device makers to create value added products and services. Over half a million devices run Tonido personal cloud software around the world to share and sync files, music and photos.
CodeLathe is behind Tonido, which is a software and service that makes your devices accessible from anywhere via a web browser. Tonido runs on your desktop as well as on a small, low-cost (less than $100), low-power, always on home server called TonidoPlug.
Tonido runs on a wide range of hardware platforms and has low system requirements making it ideal for integration in embedded systems where hardware resources are in short supply. Tonido offers a compelling alternative to online cloud services and allows you to run your own personal cloud using your existing computers.

Management Team
CodeLathe, based out of Austin, Texas, USA was founded in 2008 by experienced entrepreneurs having deep understanding of technology and how to deliver it in a no-nonsense fashion. At CodeLathe, we are passionate about creating great software products that people and we love to use. We believe that if we do the right thing, and exceed the customer expectations every single time, success inevitably follows.
Madhan Kanagavel, is Founder and Chief Hacker behind CodeLathe. Over the past 15 years, prior to founding CodeLathe, Madhan has worked as on almost all kinds of diverse systems and technology including highly scalable MMORPG game server technology and high speed video acquisition systems. He is also a primary developer behind several popular open source projects. Madhan holds a M.S. in Control Systems from Boston University.
Anis Abdul, is the Chief Technology Officer at CodeLathe. In this role, he is responsible for developing and overseeing the overall technology vision for the company, driving technology innovation and software architecture. With over 13 years experience in developing software architecture in embedded and distributed systems, Anis is experienced in all aspects of CodeLathe’s products and services. Anis holds a M.S. in Control Systems from Texas A&M.
Advisory Board
Thiru Arunachalam, Co-Founder & CEO of Peel, spends most of his time dreaming about various ways to make people’s life simpler using technology. Before Peel, he was a management consultant at Booz & Co. (formerly Booz Allen Hamilton) building innovation and go-to-market strategy for consumer brands. Prior to that he was a product manager and an engineer building software products for Apple & HP. When he is not creating something cool, he loves exploring food, fashion and culture. Thiru holds a BS in Engineering and a MBA from Wharton Business School.
