Platform Agnostic Backup Solution

Tonido Backup allows backup of any file or folder to any remote computer running Tonido regarless of its OS or hardware.

As long as the target is in the same Tonido group, any file/folder can be backed up!.

Simple setup

Setting up a Backup record is very simple using Tonido Backup. Step 1: Make sure the remote target Tonido is in the your group. Step 2: Select file or folder to backup Step 3: Set your preference on the backup schedule. Thats it!

Tonido Backup can be setup to any remote target irrespective of their location since the Tonido peer id is a globally addressable address!.

Scheduled Backups

Backup can be set to be started on user input, or can be set to start at periodic interval.

Secure Operation

Tonido Backup uses Tonido's P2P technology and all data is encrypted using AES ecryption algorithm. Further more, your data does NOT get transferred using a third party server. Data is transferred directly from your computer to the remote computer.

Tonido P2P transfer does not require any port forwarding to work as well!
